Uniserve Facilities Services

The PURE Program: Sustainability Measured, Not Marketed.

The PURE Program is UNISERVE’s enforceable sustainability standard — a set of measurable mandates governing chemical procurement, equipment selection, and operational practices across every facility UNISERVE manages.

Unlike aspirational green programs that report on intent, PURE establishes independently verifiable thresholds tied directly to client sustainability outcomes, including LEED EB:O&M certification credits, ESG reporting compliance, and government environmental procurement requirements.

Every chemical, every piece of powered equipment, and every operational protocol that enters a UNISERVE-managed facility is governed by criteria that can be audited, documented, and disclosed.

Uniserve Facilities Services

Built for LEED & Green Standards

UNISERVE’s sustainability practices align directly with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) requirements under the EB: O&M framework — supporting clients in achieving and maintaining Green Building certifications at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels. As a CIMS-GB with Honors certified organization, UNISERVE meets the highest independently verified standard for environmentally responsible facility management.

The UNISERVE SYNC™ Sustainability

The 75/40 Sustainable Mandate

At the core of the PURE Program is a commitment that can be measured and verified — not just claimed.

75% Green-Certified Chemical Expenditures

A minimum of 75% of all chemical expenditures must be products certified under Green Seal GS-37, Green Seal GS-40, or UL ECOLOGO. Every certified product directly contributes to LEED EB:O&M credit points for client facilities.

40% LEED-Compliant Equipment

A minimum of 40% of all powered equipment in deployment must meet LEED-EBOM standards for sound attenuation (operating under 70 dBA) and HEPA-grade particulate filtration. This standard protects occupant air quality and acoustic comfort — particularly critical in healthcare, education, and 24/7 occupied environments.

AXP™ Direct Injection System

Water and chemical are combined only at the point of application — eliminating pre-mixed solution waste, reducing chemical consumption by an estimated 15%, and removing the storage and disposal burden of pre-mixed product.

Sustainability in Action

Green Cleaning Standards — All cleaning chemicals meet Green Seal GS-37, GS-40, or UL ECOLOGO certification — contributing directly to LEED EB:O&M Innovation in Operations credits.

HEPA Filtration & Air Quality — All PURE-compliant powered equipment uses HEPA particulate filtration, measurably reducing airborne particulates and allergens in occupied spaces.

Reduced Chemical & Water Waste — The AXP™ Direct Injection system mixes at point of application, reducing chemical waste an estimated 15% versus pre-mixed solution programs.

Low-Noise Equipment Standards — All PURE-compliant powered equipment operates under 70 dBA — meeting LEED-EBOM standards for occupied and acoustically sensitive environments.

Fleet Emissions Management — Continuous improvement in fleet fuel efficiency and route optimization supports measurable year-over-year emissions reduction across the UNISERVE service fleet.

Microfiber Standards — Color-coded microfiber systems replace disposable wiping materials, reducing landfill contribution and supporting allergen cross-contamination control.

Concentrated Product Procurement — Concentrated chemistries reduce packaging weight, transport emissions, and storage footprint compared to ready-to-use alternatives.
